Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in the Assembly on Monday that not a single death has occurred in the state due to codeine cough syrup or fake medicines.
Leader of the House and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in response to the question of opposition members during the Question Hour on Monday, said that not a single case of death due to codeine has come to the notice of the Uttar Pradesh government.The whole matter is of illegal diversion in which names of some people have come up in the investigation. When the time comes, bulldozer action will be taken against them and then do not shout.
CM Yogi said that investigation has revealed that Codeine Cup syrup is used in the states where it is used for prohibition. The big hole seller who was caught in this case was also given license in 2016 during the SP government.
CM Yogi taunted and said that the syrup is used on the advice of the doctor. Taking a dig at Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey, Chief Minister Yogi said that at this stage of age, people speak the truth but it seems that socialists make them lie too. There was a huge uproar in the House regarding this and the proceedings of the House were adjourned several times.
