This action has been taken in response to the terrorist attacks in recent days, which have intensified the unrest in the entire region.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti confirmed the operation in a press conference held in Quetta on Sunday. He informed that the security forces conducted this operation in a planned manner on the basis of intelligence information. In this operation, Army and Frontier Corps soldiers destroyed many major hideouts of terrorists. The slain terrorists were allegedly involved in recent attacks in the state, including firing on security forces and killings of civilians. The administration has called it a decisive fight against terrorism.
Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti’s blunt statement, said – Those who play with the peace of the state will not be spared, compromise with national security is not possible.
While addressing the media, Chief Minister Bugti made it clear that the objective of the government and the army is to establish rule of law in the province. He said that any elements who challenge the sovereignty of the country or shed the blood of innocent people will not be given any concession under any circumstances. The government has indicated that this operation will continue with the same intensity until the last terrorist is eliminated. Bugti praised the courage of the security forces and said that they are protecting the country by risking their lives.
After input and response to terrorist attacks, high alert issued in entire Balochistan, security increased at every corner and intelligence agencies activated.
After this major military action, high alert has been declared in the entire Balochistan province. In view of the possibility of any kind of retaliatory action, security has been increased in major cities, government establishments and check posts. Intelligence agencies have also been fully activated so that any new conspiracy of terrorists can be foiled in time. The local administration has appealed to the common citizens to remain alert and immediately report any suspicious activity to the security forces. At present, there is tense peace in the area and the search operation is still going on.
