New Delhi. PM Narendra Modi on Saturday targeted Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Lalu Yadav’s son Tejashwi Yadav, known as a public hero in Bihar. PM Modi was speaking at a program related to Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur Kaushal University. Without naming Rahul and Tejashwi, PM Modi said that Karpoori Thakur was not made a public hero by social media trolls. Modi said that the people of Bihar had created a public hero after seeing his life. PM Modi said that I urge the people of Bihar to be vigilant. Nowadays people are also trying to steal this title of Jan Nayak.

Actually, all the Congress leaders and activists call Rahul Gandhi a Jan Nayak on social media. At the same time, some people of RJD described Tejashwi Yadav as a public leader. On this, PM Modi targeted the Bihar government program. Karpoori Thakur was a socialist leader of Bihar. He was also the CM of Bihar. Karpoori Thakur is called Jan Nayak due to the work done in a simple life and the work done in the interest of common people. How Karpoori Thakur used to see the public interest, it gives a hallmark that he had built a school with bricks for his house. On 23 January 2024, the Modi government honored Karpoori Thakur posthumously with Bharat Ratna.
Karpoori Thakur was from the Backward Community of Bihar. He did all the work for the most backward classes in Bihar. Karpoori Thakur remains relevant in the current politics of Bihar, because on one hand he was a big leader and caste plays an important role in Bihar politics. It is clear from PM Modi to target Rahul and Tejashwi by taking the name of Karpoori Thakur today that the issue of Jan Nayak will also heat up in Bihar elections.
