New Delhi. On the occasion of Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the new building of Chhattisgarh Assembly. After this, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several projects worth Rs 14,260 crore related to the development of the state. Addressing the Chhattisgarh Silver Mahotsav, Prime Minister Modi said, after the year 2000, an entire generation has changed here. Today there is a whole generation of youth here who have not seen those old days. When Chhattisgarh was formed, it was very difficult to reach many villages because there were no roads. Today trains like Vande Bharat are running in Chhattisgarh. There are direct flight facilities and also road routes like expressways. Chhattisgarh was once known only for ‘export of raw materials’, but today the state is emerging in a new role as an industrial state.
