What did the officials say about the safety of Indians in UAE?
According to former ambassador Sanjay Sudhir, Dubai and other emirates have a history of bouncing back strongly during times of crisis. He said the UAE’s defense system is capable of stopping attacks and whatever minor injuries have occurred in recent days have not been caused by direct attacks but by falling debris. The relations between India and UAE are very deep and the government there considers Indians as its family.
About 40 lakh Indian citizens reside in UAE. UAE Ambassador Abdulnasir Alshali has assured that the safety of Indians is his priority. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also discussed security and peace with the UAE President. The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and Dubai has started a helpline to help the migrants.

The Government of India is continuously monitoring the situation and the officials have clarified the situation through latest data. Although some people have returned to India on their own wish or after completion of their work, it cannot be called migration due to crisis.
