Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis shared an important information on Wednesday. He told that the Indians who were stuck there amid the ongoing situation in West Asia, will be brought back to India in the next two to three days. The government is fully active in this and is ensuring the safety of the citizens in collaboration with the airlines. So far many students and citizens have been brought back safely.
By which routes and flights is the return taking place?
164 people have returned to Mumbai late on Tuesday night. This included 84 students from Indira School of Business Studies, who were brought from Fujairah on two special flights. Different airlines have geared up to speed up the refund process:
SpiceJet: Will operate 8 special flights from Fujairah (UAE) to New Delhi, Mumbai and Kochi.
Air India & Express: Flights are gradually operating from Dubai, Muscat and Jeddah.
Star Air: Helping with initial special charter flights.

The Indian People’s Forum and the Indian Embassy in Dubai are in constant touch with the people. Chief Minister Fadnavis informed on social media that people should follow the instructions of the local mission. Students and Umrah pilgrims are being given priority as they have limited resources.
What is the situation on visa and ticket prices?
Ticket prices of private flights are being said to be very high at present, due to which common passengers are facing problems. According to the Maharashtra State Minorities Commission, the travel packages of many Umrah pilgrims have expired and they are facing financial problems. The government said that there were some problems regarding Kuwait visa, to solve which the affected people have been gathered at one place. Some airways are still closed or unsafe, so evacuations are being conducted out of caution.
