The Embassy of India has issued a very important information on March 8, 2026 for about 35 lakh Indians living in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). If you are in UAE, avoid making videos of airports or any incident place. If you do so, the police there can take strict legal action, which includes both heavy fines and jail. The Embassy has asked all citizens to strictly follow local laws.

🚨: Big decision of Saudi Aramco, due to security, oil will be sent from Yanbu port, prices will increase from April.

Which mistakes are important to avoid?

UAE officials have warned not to share any photo or video on social media without permission. Especially if there has been an accident somewhere or there is a military area, then do not take out the camera there. If a siren or alert sounds, immediately hide in a safe place instead of making a video outside.

Do not take photographs of the incident site or debris or try to touch it. Recording of arrival/departure inside the airport is completely prohibited. Avoid spreading rumors or forwarding old videos, it will be considered a crime.

How much will be the fine if the rules are broken?

Under the cyber crime law of UAE, if a person breaks these rules, he may have to face big trouble. Officials have made it clear that for not following the rules, a fine ranging from 1 lakh to 30 lakh dirhams (AED) can be imposed. Apart from this, there is a provision of punishment ranging from 6 months to 5 years and deportation from the country, so take care of your safety.

What is the relief for stranded passengers?

There is good news for the Indian citizens who are stuck there due to closure of flights after 28 February 2026. The UAE government has waived the overstay fine imposed on his visa. Currently, some limited non-scheduled flights have been started for India so that the stranded people can return. In times of trouble, you can contact the Indian Embassy helpline number 800-46342 or WhatsApp +971 54 309 0571.
