More than 100 flights were delayed due to a technical glitch in the air traffic control system at the Delhi airport on Friday morning. Sources gave this information.

Air traffic controllers have been unable to automatically receive flight plans due to technical problems since Thursday evening, sources said. He told that there are some problems in the ‘Automatic Message Switching System’ (AMSS). AMSS provides information for the Automated Monitoring System (AMS).
Sources said traffic controllers are preparing flight plans ‘manually’ based on available data, which takes more time and is resulting in delay of many flights. He said that due to these problems, air traffic is also being disrupted at the airport and officials are working to solve these problems. Sources said more than 100 flights were delayed at the airport on Friday morning.
According to the website providing information about the planes, the departure of flights at Delhi airport is being delayed by about 50 minutes.
