The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has shared an important information regarding the security of the country on Thursday, March 26, 2026. The air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed 15 ballistic missiles and 11 drones. After this incident, the Ministry had issued a security alert and advised people to stay in safe places and later also issued an all-clear notification when the situation became normal.

According to the UAE Defense Ministry, the source of these attacks was Iran. The security forces displayed promptness and eliminated the threats before they could reach the populated areas. However, these attacks and previous incidents have also resulted in some casualties, including civilians and military personnel.
So far, 3 army personnel and 8 civilians have lost their lives in this conflict. The civilians killed include citizens of India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Palestine.
