At the time of the tour, he met the head of the temple, Swami Brahmavihardas, who said that the construction of this temple was a challenging project in the area where it was once considered impossible. Swami said that the chief Swami Maharaj had dreamed of building this temple in Abu Dhabi in 1997 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s constant support and diplomatic efforts were important in realizing it. PM Modi’s honesty and dedication established friendship with the rulers of Abu Dhabi, which approved the project and the entire construction work was handed over to the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha.
Swami Brahmaviharadas also highlighted the widespread significance of the temple and said that it is “a spiritual passage of global harmony”, where spiritual individuals with correct values and world leaders with clear purpose can sit together and build peace. He also said that time is cyclic, but the war can end through dialogue and people of all religions can contribute to the construction of this temple, which has become a symbol of global harmony and unity today.
