New Delhi. The journey of Mata Vaishno Devi, which had been stopped for the last several days, has now come updated about it. Giving good news to the devotees on behalf of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, it has been told that Vaishno Devi Yatra is going to start again from Sunday, 14 September. The journey was stopped after heavy rains and landslides on 26 August near Ardhkunwari on Vaishno Devi Yatra walking. 34 devotees were killed in this landslide incident. Since this incident, the yatra is currently closed.
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has appealed to all the devotees who come to see the mother to plan the journey only in view of the weather conditions. Apart from this, keep an eye on any advisory issued by the Shrine Board and follow it. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has formed a high level committee to find out the causes of landslides. This committee will intensively examine and submit its report after which steps will be taken to prevent landslides in future.
Let us tell you that on August 26, Vaishno Devi had suddenly become landslide due to heavy rains on the walking route, which many devotees came under the grip. Due to this horrific accident, people lost their lives as well as the journey route was also blocked. After removing the debris, the repair work of the travel route was done, which is now almost complete. After this, it has now been decided to resume the journey.
