Vice President CP Radhakrishnan on Saturday B. R. Tried to pay tribute to Ambedkar on his 69th death anniversary and remembered his continuous struggle for equality and dignity.
Radhakrishnan said that Ambedkar was a great pioneer of social justice.
“His constant struggle for equality, dignity and fraternity became the foundation of a modern, progressive and inclusive India. His visionary thoughts continue to guide us towards a just and harmonious society,” he said in a social media post. He further said, “Babasaheb’s immortal legacy remains an inspiration for generations.”
Ambedkar, one of the chief architects of the Constitution, was also the first Law Minister of independent India. He died on this day in 1956.
