Lucknow. There is news of a major road accident in UP for the second consecutive day. On Sunday night, 6 people lost their lives in a collision between a Bolero and a truck in Amethi. The latest accident happened in Deoria. Here Bolero car collided with UP Roadways bus. 6 people have also died in this accident. More than 10 people were seriously injured in the accident. The Bolero was destroyed in such a way that the police lost their sweat in extracting the injured and dead bodies from it. CM Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the incident. He has directed the administration to provide better care and treatment to all the injured.
According to the police, both the roadways bus and Bolero overturned after the collision. More people were injured than this. The people in Bolero were returning to Deoria after attending a tilak program at Kohra village in Kushinagar. When Bolero collided with the bus near Panaha village of Gauribazar police station area. The bus was coming from Gorakhpur. On getting information about the incident, all the top officials of police and administration reached the spot. Cutter had to be called to retrieve the injured and dead bodies. Among the dead are 5 people in the Bolero and 1 passenger of the bus.
According to police sources, the condition of many injured in the accident is critical. In such a situation, the death toll is also expected to increase. The injured have been kept in the district hospital. CMO Dr. Alok Kumar Pandey himself is looking after here. Apart from them, DIG Shripati Mishra and DM Jitendra Pratap Singh also reached the hospital. The injured are being treated by calling many doctors from the medical college. According to the administration, a recommendation has been sent to the Chief Minister’s office to give compensation to the families of the casualties.
