Balbir Singh, Gwalior Naiduniya. Today Northeast wind changed the weather of the city. The minimum temperature reached 14 degrees Celsius, which was 3.1 degrees above normal. Due to this the cold went away in the night as well. Fans had to be run at night. It was foggy in the morning. By 8:30 in the morning, the temperature had reached 17 degrees, due to which the heat started in the day as well as at night. The Meteorological Department has predicted a rise in day and night temperatures in the next 24 hours. Due to strong sunlight during the day, the mercury can reach above 32 degree Celsius. This increase will increase the heat during the day. With the arrival of a new Western Disturbance, the temperature will increase further.
A trough is extending from Punjab to Gwalior via Chambal Division. Due to this trough line, the wind direction is North East. This air has started bringing moisture with it. Last day the minimum temperature settled at 11.7 degrees Celsius, which brought down the chill in the night. There was no prick of cold as the temperature was 0.8 degree above normal. The chill disappeared in the night as the temperature rose by three degrees Celsius on Thursday. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of cloud cover due to increase in the temperature during the day. However, there is no chance of rain. The weather is changing because of the clouds.
New Western Disturbance is becoming active tomorrow: A new Western Disturbance is approaching Jammu and Kashmir on February 25. The effect of this western disturbance will be visible between February 27 and 28. The wind direction will turn west, due to which the temperature may increase. Due to this increase, the coolness from the weather will end. Summer will start in March. However, there is less chance of rain in the district including the city. It can only be cloudy.
