No-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan has been introduced in Pakistan’s Parliament. With this, the proceedings of the Parliament were adjourned till March 31. The speaker said that on March 31, at 4 pm, the vote on this no-confidence motion will decide the fate of the Imran Khan government. The resolution moved against the Imran Khan government has been supported by 161 MPs. This no-confidence motion against the Imran government was moved by the Leader of the Opposition Shahbaz Sharif. He said that the people of the country have not had faith in the government of Imran Khan Niazi, in such a situation, a vote should be held against the government on the no-confidence motion.
The Speaker of the Pakistan Parliament, after counting the members, said that 161 MPs have supported this resolution. After this Shahbaz Sharif read out the no-confidence motion brought against Imran Khan. The no-confidence motion against the Imran Khan government was to be introduced in Pakistan’s Parliament on Friday itself, but Speaker Asad Qaiser adjourned the proceedings of the house.
It is being said that as part of the strategy of the Imran Khan government, the proceedings of the house were adjourned so that he could bring some MPs in his favor. On Sunday, Imran Khan also held a big Jalsa in Islamabad, in which thousands of people attended. In this procession, Imran Khan had said that efforts are being made to topple his government with the help of foreign powers. Apart from this, Imran Khan while attacking Nawaz Sharif, Fazlur Rehman and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that all the dacoits have united against my government. Not only this, in his address, Imran Khan had said that our governments after 1990 have been incompetent and due to this we went backward, while our neighboring country India has overtaken.
