New Delhi. In today’s modern era, most of the people of India use UPI (Unified Payments Interface), through this you can make your payment to anyone from anywhere in a jiffy. But along with this, the Government of India also always makes efforts for the security of UPI users so that the users do not face any kind of problem, and due to this, the government has now decided that it will ban some UPI IDs being used in India. Is going to be closed in the month of December. If you are also a UPI user then this news is very important for you, and if you ignore it then perhaps your ID may also be closed.
Actually, National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) has asked all payment apps including Goole Pay, Paytm, PhonePe to deactivate UPI ID and number, and according to this new rule, only those UPI IDs which are used will be deactivated. Has not happened since last one year. And for this, NPCI has given time till 31 December 2023 to third party app providers and payment service providers.
So how can you save your UPI ID?
If you have been using your UPI ID continuously then you do not need to worry at all. No action will be taken against your UPI ID. But if your UPI ID is closed for a long time or no transaction has been done through it, then first of all you will have to do any transaction, that too with the same closed UPI ID, after which your UPI ID will be considered active.
