If you are already the beneficiary of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme, then there is another big gift of the government for you. Now you can easily get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mahan Dhan Pension Scheme (PM-KMY), and that too without any additional documents or expenses. The government has connected both these schemes, which guarantees the farmers after retirement.

What is PM Kisan Manadhan Pension Scheme?

PM-KMY is a voluntary and contributory pension scheme, which has been launched by the Central Government, especially for small and marginal farmers. Under this scheme, farmers are given a fixed pension of ₹ 3,000 every month after completing the age of 60 years. That is, assistance of ₹ 36,000 annually. This pension gets throughout life, which gives economic support to elderly farmers.

Who will get the benefit of this scheme?

The age of the farmer should be between 18 and 40 years.

The beneficiary should already be registered under the PM-Kisan scheme.

Once registration is done, pension starts getting as soon as the age of 60 years is completed.

After registration in the scheme, a special pension ID number is available, which keeps your record and identity safe.

Money will not have to be paid from pocket, PM-Kisan will be paid

The biggest feature of this scheme is that farmers do not have to pay any money from their pockets for this. Which is the monthly contribution (from ₹ 55 to ₹ 200 per month, age), it is directly cut off with the help of PM-Kisan ₹ 6,000 annually.

For example, if a farmer joins this scheme at the age of 40, he has to contribute ₹ 2,400 (₹ 200 per month) annually. This money becomes automatically deducted from PM-Kisan funds. The rest of the ₹ 3,600 is received by the farmer for other needs. That is, double benefits from the same scheme.

Registration process

The registration process is extremely easy and free:

The farmer will have to visit his nearest Jan Seva Kendra (CSC).

take out:

Aadhar card

Bank passbook

Land documents

Passport Size Photo

The CSC operator fills the online form based on your documents.

An auto-debit form is filled, so that the monthly contribution continues to be cut automatically.

If you are already a beneficiary of PM-Kisan, then filling the form becomes even easier because your information is already in the system.
