Garuda Purana is one of the important texts of Hinduism, especially known for guiding the rules of death, religion and life. Although this book is often famous for the rules related to salvation and life-death, Garuda Purana also describes many mantras and rules that enhance health and physical energy in daily life. These instructions based on yoga, diet, physical activity and mental discipline promote not only physical health but also mental balance.

1. Maintaining time and purity in the morning

It is said in the Garuda Purana that it is very auspicious to get up and bathe before sunrise every day. It purifies the body and increases mental energy. Waking up early in the morning activates the digestive system, improves blood circulation and gets enthusiasm for the whole day.

2. Importance of bathing and water

Bath is not only a medium to clean the body, but according to Garuda Purana, it is also a means to increase physical energy and toxic elements. Especially using the Ganges or any pure water source is beneficial for mental peace and positive energy.

3. Chanting and meditation of mantras

Garuda Purana recommends regular chanting some special mantras. As soon as you wake up in the morning, chanting of mantras like “Om Namah Shivaya” or “Om Shree” gives peace of mind, focuses and the flow of energy in the body is better. It reduces stress and increases immunity.

4. Balanced diet and food according to nature

In the book, food has been described as a source of body and energy. Fresh fruits, vegetables, pulses and light food every day keeps the body healthy. The Garuda Purana stresses on a particularly balanced diet, low oily food and eating at regular time. It strengthens digestive power and increases physical capacity.

5. Yoga and Physical Exercise

In order to increase health and energy, yoga, pranayama and mild workouts have been described as necessary in Garuda Purana. Especially Surya Namaskar and a balanced practice of breathing, increases blood circulation in body parts, strengthens muscles and reduces mental stress.

6. Mental discipline and positive thinking

Garuda Purana also describes special importance of mental peace and positive thinking. Everyday, meditation in routine, pronunciation of mantras and memory of God not only brings mental peace, but also keeps the flow of energy in the body stable.

7. Rule of rest and sleep at night

Good sleep and relaxation are also said to be necessary for health in Garuda Purana. Sleeping on time and getting adequate sleep leads to repairing the body, the energy level remains stable and the next morning feels freshness.

8. Physical cleaning and environment hygiene

Apart from the body, keeping the environment around it clean is also said to be essential for health and energy in the Garuda Purana. Living in a clean environment maintains mental balance and protects against diseases.
