Patna. The Supreme Court, while giving a major verdict in Bihar’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) case, has directed the Election Commission to accept the Aadhaar card as a 12th document as evidence of identity to join the voter list. Leader of Opposition and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday described this decision of the Supreme Court as a major victory of poor and common people.
Speaking to reporters, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, Leader of Bihar Legislative Assembly, said, “We wanted the Aadhaar card to be included from the beginning, because the poor have the most common document. Thanks to the Supreme Court and our lawyers who fought the fight in the interest of voters.”
Tejashwi also raised questions about the Vice Presidential election. He said, “The election was firmly spoken in the election, but we are suspicious about the health of Jagdeep Dhankhar. Dhankhar is really ill or is shown ill? He is not shown any idea after running the House properly. Neither the health bulletin is being issued, no information. No information. The house is arrested so that the truth is not revealed?” He demanded transparency in the matter.
Regarding the My-Bain Mann Yojana, Tejashwi said, “Our party is doing the work of filling the form under this scheme.
Tejashwi appealed to the workers to participate in this campaign without fear. He accused the administration of intimidating and arresting the workers, saying, “When BJP leaders fill the form, there is no problem, but when our party does so, the workers are arrested. This is illegal. We will not tolerate any illegal action and we will drag the officials to the court.”
