CM Dhami shared a grand video of the temple and underlined its spiritual splendor. Through his post, he highlighted the supernatural beauty and spiritual importance of Maa’s court and invited the devotees to come here. Along with this he wrote, “Maa Purnagiri temple located in Champawat district of Uttarakhand is a major place of deep faith of the devotees. Devotees from different states of the country come here throughout the year to have darshan of Mata. Especially during Navratri, special worship and a huge fair is organized here, in which a large number of people participate. If you go to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, then definitely visit Maa Purnagiri and get the spiritual experience of this holy place.” This holy abode of Maa Purnagiri is such a source of spiritual energy, upon reaching where every devotee feels blessed and positive. This court of Mata Rani boasts of grandeur and natural beauty.
It is believed that this temple is one of the most sacred Shaktipeeths among the 108 Siddhapeethas. Situated at an altitude of about 3000-5500 feet above sea level, this temple is considered to be the place where the navel of Goddess Sati falls, where every wish made with a true heart is fulfilled.
Here devotees tie the knot of Chunari to fulfill their wishes. After the Purnagiri darshan, devotees also visit the nearby Siddha Baba temple. It is believed that without his darshan the Purnagiri Yatra is considered incomplete. Buram Dev Mandi is situated near this temple which is also very popular among tourists.
