Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday once again reiterated the talk of developed India from Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. He said the 21st century belongs to 140 crore Indians and the country will become a “developed India” by 2047. During this he also mentioned Operation Sindoor and Make in India.

Actually, Prime Minister Modi had reached Kurnool to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several projects worth Rs 13,430 crore.

Here he lauded the country’s Make in India ecosystem while narrating a rally and said we saw the power of domestic “things” in Operation Sindoor, the military operation launched on cross-border terrorist hideouts in Pakistan after the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.

In his address, PM Modi said, “By 2047, the centenary of independence, there will be a developed India. I can say with confidence that the 21st century will belong to India.”

The Prime Minister further said that Andhra Pradesh now has visionary leadership in the form of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and the Central Government is providing full support to the state.

He said that Google’s AI Hub investment will develop a new international sub-sea gateway, which will connect the under-sea cable systems of many countries. These will come up to Visakhapatnam on the east coast.

He said, “In the last 16 months, the train of development in Andhra Pradesh has been moving very fast and unprecedented progress is being made under the double engine government. Andhra Pradesh is not only a land of self-respect and culture, but also a hub of science and innovation.”

He further said that many of the projects that were inaugurated or laid the foundation stone today will improve connectivity in the state, support industries and improve the lives of people.

Modi alleged that when Congress was in power at the Center 11 years ago, the average per capita consumption of electricity was less than 1,000 units. At that time the country was also facing the challenges of blackout and there were not even electric poles in our villages.

Earlier, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several projects worth Rs 13,430 crore spread across the state here. These projects are spread across key sectors such as industry, power transmission, roads, railways, defense manufacturing and petroleum and natural gas.

He laid the foundation stone for transmission system strengthening at Kurnool-III Pooling Station with an investment of over Rs 2,880 crore. Similarly, he laid the foundation stone of Orvakal Industrial Area in Kurnool and Kopparthi Industrial Area in Cuddapah, which will see a total investment of more than Rs 4,920 crore.

The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of a six-lane greenfield highway from Sabbavaram to Sheelanagar at a cost of over Rs 960 crore. Additionally, the Prime Minister inaugurated four-laning of Pileru-Kalur section road, widening from Cuddapah-Nellore border to CS Puram and four-lane Rail Over Bridge (ROB) between Gudivada and Nuzella railway stations on NH-165.

Apart from this, Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated railway projects worth more than Rs 1,200 crore. He laid the foundation stone of Kothavalasa-Vizianagaram fourth railway line and rail flyover between Pendurthi and Simhachalam North. With Budge inaugurated the doubling of Kottavalasa-Boddavara section and Shimiliguda-Gorapur section.

Let us inform that the PM inaugurated and laid the foundation stone after returning to Kurnool after visiting Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swami Varala Devasthanam in Srisailam in Nandyal district.

“Prime Minister Modi performed Rudrabhishek with Panchmuralu (a sacred mixture made of cow milk, cow curd, cow ghee, honey and sugar) at the temple,” BJP sources said.

Chief Minister Naidu and Pawan Kalyan accompanied him to the temple. Later, Prime Minister Modi visited the Shri Shivaji Sphoorti Kendra, a memorial complex. The complex has a meditation hall with models of four iconic forts – Pratapgarh, Rajgarh, Raigarh and Shivneri – installed at its four corners. In the middle, there is a statue of the great king Chhatrapati Shivaji in deep meditation posture.

Run by the Shri Shivaji Smarak Samiti, this meditation hall was established in the temple town in memory of Chhatrapati Shivaji’s historic visit to the holy pilgrimage site in 1677.
