Pune, 19 September (IANS). Political analyst Tehsin Poonawala called it a positive step for the Indian economy after the Adani Group received a clean chit in the Hindenburg case.
He said that this matter is not of the government or opposition, but of India’s economic future.
Poonawala insisted that India has not enough to become the second largest economy in the world in the next 30-35 years. The country needs entrepreneurs like millions of Gautam Adani and Alan Musk. For this, the spirit of entrepreneurship will have to be promoted, so that India can stand firmly on the global economic platform.
Taking a dig at Hindanburg, Poonawala said that it was not a knight of Wall Street, but ‘Wall Street wolves’, whose purpose was to attack and make profits on the Indian economy by spreading confusion.
He said that in a detailed investigation report of 1,200 pages, all the allegations of Hindanberg were closely reviewed. The Supreme Court, while answering every question, gave a clean chit to Gautam Adani, Rajesh Adani and other members of Adani Group.
Poonawala warned that India is an emerging economy and needs to be protected from predators.
Poonawala said that we have to protect our economy and entrepreneurs. In order to establish India as an economic power on the global stage, we have to encourage entrepreneurs. This step will further strengthen the Indian economy.
Adaani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said on Thursday that SEBI’s orders have once again proved that the allegations made by Hindenberg were completely baseless.
In two different orders on Thursday, the Capital Market Regulator ended the action against the companies of Adani Group and its senior officials in cases related to the allegations of Hindonburg Research.
