New Delhi, 9 September (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday and surveyed disaster affected areas. Bharatiya Janata Party National President and Union Health and Welfare Minister J.P. Nadda praised PM Modi’s visit. He reiterated that the central government is standing shoulder to shoulder with the people of Himachal Pradesh at this time of disaster.
J.P. Posting on the social media platform X, Nadda wrote, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the flood and over -ravage affected areas in Devbhoomi Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday and met the families of disaster affected families and expressed financial assistance of Rs 1500 crore for the disaster affected areas in Devbhoomi and provided Rs 2 lakh for the families of the dead and Rs 50,000 for the injured in the natural disaster.”
He further reported, “The second installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and SDRF will be paid in advance, the disaster will provide important steps to the people of Devbhoomi such as reconstruction and repair under PM Awas Yojana, assistance to schools under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, assistance to schools, renovation of national highways and construction of water harvesting structures for storage and storage of rainwater.
Nadda reiterated that the central government is standing shoulder to shoulder with the citizens of Himachal Pradesh. He wrote, “The central government is standing shoulder to shoulder in this form of crisis with the citizens of Himachal Pradesh. I thank Prime Minister Modi on behalf of the people of Devbhoomi for all possible help in this adverse situation.”
Explain that PM Modi took stock of the situation of flood and landslide in Himachal Pradesh through an aerial survey and held a review meeting with Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, MPs, leaders and other officials.
PM Modi wrote on X, “In this difficult time, we are standing strongly with our siblings of the state. Along with this, we are leaving no stone unturned to help the affected people. In Himachal Pradesh, there is a conversation with some people affected by heavy floods and landslides. Along with their suffering, the damage caused by the tragedy is going to be disturbed by the mind.
