Kolkata, April 9 (IANS). In Kharagpur, West Bengal, BJP candidate Dilip Ghosh, while giving his reaction on many important issues, talked about the politics of the state and the global situation.

Dilip Ghosh told IANS that today three big programs are going on in Bengal and similarly in five states of the country, all the big leaders including the Prime Minister and the National President of the party are assuring the public that if there is change in Bengal and other states, then there will be a big change in the lives of the people too.

Raising questions on the law and order of the state, Dilip Ghosh alleged that there has been continuous violence in Bengal for the last one year. He said, “Being the opposition party here, BJP is facing the biggest loss. Now that the elections are near, TMC people are even more nervous due to the fear of defeat.”

He also cornered the state government on the issue of corruption. Dilip Ghosh said that looting of government funds, government property and schemes has become a common thing. Corruption is rampant and some politicians and businessmen associated with them are involved.

Speaking on the global situation and the issue of peace, he said, “Everyone wants peace but one or two leaders of the country are putting the whole world in danger for their own benefit. The sooner peace is established, the better.”

He said that today the whole world is like one family and all countries are dependent on each other. The world cannot run without oil and gas and any disruption in it has the biggest impact on the general public.

At the same time, Dilip Ghosh also reacted to Saradha Chit Fund scam’s main accused Sudipta Sen getting bail from the Calcutta High Court after almost 13 years. He said, “This process has been going on for the last 12 years. Mamata Banerjee’s government took care of it and TMC people used her hundreds of crores of rupees. Now whatever happens, it will be as per the law and the court will decide on it. Many people have already got bail and the legal process will continue in the future also.”
