New Delhi, April 7 (IANS). Bihar government minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal reacted to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s statement regarding the Pahalgam attack. He said that Mamata Banerjee does false and misleading propaganda every time.
Dilip Jaiswal told IANS that Mamata Banerjee is now making such statements because her political ground is slipping and she is playing her ‘last card’.
Dilip Jaiswal also praised the work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the promises made by PM Modi to BJP workers before coming to power in 2014 are being continuously fulfilled. He said that many issues like Article 370 and Waqf law were part of the party’s old agenda, which have now been implemented. Besides, he also termed major decisions like Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and ‘One Nation, One Election’ as necessary. He says that this will save the country’s expenses and provide convenience to the common people.
Jaiswal also launched a scathing attack on Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. He said Congress leaders were like “biting snakes”, and they had harmed the country.
Let us tell you that Mamata Banerjee, while referring to the recent threat of attack on Kolkata from Pakistan, had raised the question as to why the Prime Minister is silent on this serious issue. CM Mamata Banerjee said that the Prime Minister, who is targeting Bengal in election rallies, is not saying a single word on this sensitive topic related to the security of the country.
At the same time, Union Minister of State Ramdas Athawale reacted to the controversy regarding Electronic Voting Machine (EVM). He said that EVM machines were not brought after the arrival of Prime Minister Modi, but they are already in use. He reminded that in the era of ballot paper, counting of votes took a lot of time, hence EVMs were implemented during the Congress rule.
Apart from this, JDU national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad raised questions on the statement of TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee. He said that it is surprising that leaders holding constitutional posts are spreading rumors without any solid basis.
