This time, the new handle is named ‘Kokroch is back’. Its profile bio also reads, “Cockroaches never die” – a statement that people are taking as a direct joke against the system. According to reports, the original account was blocked in India, prompting ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ founder Abhijeet Deepke to create this new account.

Many users called it a “digital comeback”, while others described it as the new voice of youth anger. Over the past few days, this organization has gone viral on the internet at an astonishing speed. On Instagram alone, its number of followers has now crossed 10 million (1 crore) – which is actually more than the BJP’s follower count.

This page specifically raises issues like lack of jobs, paper leaks, rigging in competitive exams and general frustration with the system. It is worth noting that this entire digital movement started on 16 May. Following a controversy on social media over the word “cockroach”, youth started using it as a symbol of protest. Gradually, what started as a joke turned into a massive online campaign that sparked intense debate and discussion across the internet.
