UP Congress: The much awaited list of State Executive of OBC Department of Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee has been released. In this list, keeping the number of office bearers from backward and extremely backward castes in proportion to the population, representation has been given at 35 percent and 65 percent, which shows the strong commitment of the top leadership towards the main agenda of the Congress, Jitni Abadi Yutna Haq.
On this occasion, OBC Congress State President Manoj Yadav expressed gratitude to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, former President Rahul Gandhi, MP Priyanka Gandhi, OBC Congress National President Anil Jai Hind and Congress Uttar Pradesh President Ajay Rai. While congratulating the newly appointed social justice warriors, he also confirmed the upcoming detailed program of the department.

For social justice and awareness in the OBC Department, Uttar Pradesh, a comprehensive awareness campaign will be conducted by organizing Chaupals at the block and district level across the state for reservation, jobs in institutions, and share in resources for the OBC community in proportion to their population. Chaupal will be organized at block and district level.
The objective of which is to expose the institutional and policy plunder of the rights and entitlements of the OBC community by the exploitative policies of RSS-BJP, such as privatization, contractualisation, reservation scam, biased lateral entry, EWS reservation on economic basis, NFS, Collegium system etc. The public will be made aware about the misuse of institutions and the increasing threat to the right to vote through a padyatra at the block level across the state.
The real purpose of birth of RSS
By organizing a seminar on this topic, awareness will be spread on special issues like the real purpose of the birth of RSS, its functioning, its role in the Kamandal movement against OBC reservation, and its role in the Anna movement. Apart from this, the department will organize social justice conference and participatory justice conference at the district level and divisional conference at the divisional level.
In the end, a massive rally will be organized at the state level to highlight the anti-backward policies of BJP. State President of OBC Congress, Manoj Yadav expressed confidence that these programs will further strengthen the fight for social justice and will take the agenda of Congress to the people.
