IAS officers transferred in Bihar, 16 officers got new responsibilities

Patna, June 21 (IANS). The General Administration Department of Bihar Government has issued notification of transfer and new appointment of 16 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers late in the evening. In this major reshuffle, officers of the 2010 to 2020 batch have been given the responsibilities of various important departments and corporations.

Under the transfer order, 2010 batch officer Animesh Kumar Parashar has been given the additional charge of Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department. Kapil Ashok, a 2011 batch stalwart, has been appointed Managing Director, Comfed Patna, while Nilesh Ramchandra Devre will hold the additional charge of Special Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department.

Naval Kishore Chaudhary of 2013 batch has been made Managing Director, Bihar State Transmission Company Limited, Patna. Navdeep Shukla has been given the responsibility of Special Secretary, Youth Employment and Skill Development Department and Pawan Kumar Sinha has been given the responsibility of Special Secretary, Higher Education Department. Saurabh Jorwal of 2014 batch has been given additional charge of Bihar State Road Development Corporation Limited, while Kumar Mangalam has been appointed Secretary, Council of Revenue, Bihar, Patna.

Prashant Kumar CH of 2015 batch will hold the additional charge of Project Director of Bihar Education Project Council. Vishal Raj of 2017 batch has been made Managing Director, Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited. Sparsh Gupta of 2019 batch has been appointed Additional Executive Director, State Health Committee, Patna.

Meanwhile, among the officers of 2020 batch, Shrestha Anupam has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Finance Department; Abhishek Palasia has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Road Construction Department; Pradeep Singh as Joint Secretary, Tourism Department; And Kumar Nishant Vivek has been made Director, Primary Education, Bihar, Patna. Apart from this, Ananya Singh has been posted as Additional Chief Executive Officer, Jeevika (Rural Development Department) and has also been given the additional charge of Commissioner MNREGA.
