New Delhi, January 18 (IANS). BJP leader Shazia Ilmi, while supporting PM Modi’s statement regarding infiltration, said that it is not hidden from anyone that infiltrators got protection inside the state during Mamata Banerjee’s government.

Speaking to IANS in New Delhi, Shazia Ilmi said that Prime Minister Modi’s statement is not political, it is a very serious warning related to national security. This is a danger signal. If you look at West Bengal, the whole issue of infiltration has completely turned into a vote bank industry. Indian Muslims also have problems due to infiltration. Be it the matter of making fake Aadhaar cards, TMC’s protection in West Bengal encouraged infiltrators. PM Modi has rightly said that infiltrators will not be spared.

Referring to Genji, he said that there are some foreign forces and also the opposition within the country, which are constantly trying to provoke and instigate Genji, so that he can be brought out on the streets. They are not only provoking them, but in a way, they are also giving examples of Bangladesh and Nepal. Genji of India should talk about startups and better economy. The opposition wants Genji to speak out against the government, but Genji stands with the better economy, not with rumors. As long as the opposition wins, democracy is fine, if they lose, Genji is provoked.

Shazia said that what the opposition wants is that a situation like Nepal-Bangladesh should arise in our country.

Referring to famous musician AR Rahman, the BJP leader said that he is a very good person. His name is famous in the country and the world. If they are believing something, then it is a matter of concern. Rahman is very much liked in India. When they talk about communal, it is not right. He is the king of music, he should believe in his country and its people.

BJP has performed tremendously in the civic elections of Maharashtra including BMC elections. On BJP’s victory, Uddhav Thackeray has accused him of vote cutting and irregularities. BJP leader Shazia Ilmi hit back at these allegations of Uddhav Thackeray and said that Mumbai has completely rejected nepotism.

On the statement given by SP chief Akhilesh Yadav on the demolition of temples, he said that he cannot believe that he is giving such a statement. Their morale is low, that is why they are accusing BJP of destroying temples. Akhilesh Yadav should tell in whose government lathi charge was fired on Kavadis and bullets were fired on Ram devotees.
