New Delhi, March 9 (IANS). In the Lok Sabha, Foreign Minister S. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has given a sharp reaction to the uproar by Congress and other opposition members during Jaishankar’s statement. He said that the opposition is busy creating unnecessary ruckus. The government is ready to discuss every topic.
Kiren Rijiju said in the Lok Sabha, “The opposition is in complete confusion. Its people do not know what to do. First they brought a no-confidence motion against the Lok Sabha Speaker, which is still pending, but in the meantime they are giving notice of a second no-confidence motion, which has no meaning.”
He said that the Foreign Minister has given a detailed reply in the House itself on the issue being raised by the opposition. But the opposition does not want to listen to the answer. Rijiju said, “I have never seen such an irresponsible party. Is one of your families or one man the king of the entire country? There is a constitution in this country and there are rules in the House, but the people of the opposition do not follow these rules.”
Rijiju said, “I want to tell senior Congress leaders that you should look into your soul and see what good your actions are doing to the country and how much you have lowered the dignity of Parliament.” Challenging the opposition, the Union Minister said, “The government is fully ready to discuss whatever immoral proposal you have brought. If the opposition has the courage, then start the discussion now.”
Despite this the opposition’s uproar did not stop. Congress and other opposition MPs came to the Well and raised slogans and waved placards. Due to this uproar, the proceedings of the House were repeatedly disrupted.
Earlier, when External Affairs Minister S. While Jaishankar was giving a statement, opposition parties including Congress created a ruckus and walked out of the House.
