Lucknow, April 9 (IANS). Once again an organizational change has been made in the Uttar Pradesh Police Department. The media cell of the Director General of Police (DGP) office on Thursday issued transfer orders of 12 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers.
These transfers are mainly of Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) and Assistant Superintendent of Police (DSP) level officers, who have been assigned new responsibilities. According to the DGP office, the purpose of these transfers is to make the police administration more streamlined and to establish better coordination among various districts and police commissionerates. Most of the officers are from 2019 to 2022 batch.
In major transfers, Sagar Jain (IPS 2019) has been sent from Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), Saharanpur to Deputy Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate Prayagraj. Manoj Kumar Rawat (IPS 2020) has been posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (South), Sambhal district from Additional Superintendent of Police (East), District Gonda. Ayush Vikram Singh (IPS 2020) has been given the charge of Additional Superintendent of Police (City), District Bahraich from Additional Superintendent of Police (City), District Meerut.
Vinayak Gopal Bhosale (IPS 2022) has been sent from Assistant Superintendent of Police, Sitapur district to Additional Superintendent of Police (City), Meerut district. Antriksh Jain (IPS 2022) has got the post of Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), Bulandshahr district from Assistant Superintendent of Police, District Meerut. Twinkle Jain (IPS 2022) has been transferred from Assistant Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate Gautam Buddha Nagar to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate Lucknow.
Lipi Nagayach (IPS 2022) has been transferred from Assistant Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate Ghaziabad to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate Varanasi. Rajkumar Meena (IPS 2022) has been sent from Assistant Police Commissioner, Police Commissionerate Prayagraj to Additional Superintendent of Police (Naxal), District Mirzapur. Rishabh Runwal (IPS 2022) has been assigned the post of Additional Superintendent of Police (Naxal), District Sonbhadra from Assistant Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate, Lucknow.
Alok Kumar (IPS 2022), Assistant Superintendent of Police, District Sambhal, has been posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (City East), District Pratapgarh. Dr. Ishan Soni (IPS 2022) has been sent from Assistant Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate Varanasi, to Additional Superintendent of Police, District Jalaun.
Meanwhile, Mayank Pathak (IPS 2022), Assistant Superintendent of Police, Aligarh district, has been sent to Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), Saharanpur district. These transfers will be considered effective with immediate effect. This deployment is considered important to further strengthen the law and order situation.
