New Delhi, March 15 (IANS). BJP spokesperson Ajay Alok reacted strongly to the recent statement of Congress leader and former Union Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar. He said that Mani Shankar Aiyar has lost his wisdom and the Congress Party itself has accepted this.
Ajay Alok further said that if Mani Shankar Aiyar talks about dialogue with Pakistan, then he should give up his Indian citizenship and go to Pakistan.
In fact, former Union Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar had recently given a statement regarding India-Pakistan relations. Challenging the system of India, he had said that if he has courage then he should go to Islamabad and hold talks with Pakistan for months.
On the other hand, the Election Commission is going to announce the schedule of assembly elections to be held in five states at 4 pm on Sunday. BJP spokesperson Ajay Alok welcomed this announcement and called it the biggest celebration of democracy. At the same time, he also criticized the opposition parties including Trinamool Congress, Congress and DMK.
Ajay Alok said that the announcement of election schedule by the Election Commission is an important part of the democratic system and it should be welcomed. He said, “We welcome this announcement of the Election Commission. There is no bigger celebration in a democracy than elections, and today the Election Commission is going to announce it.”
He also claimed that BJP will form governments in most of the states in the upcoming elections. The BJP spokesperson also targeted the opposition parties raising questions regarding the election dates. He said, “These people have completely lost their mental balance. Who are you talking about, Trinamool Congress, Congress or DMK? In a democracy, the announcement of elections should be welcomed first.”
