On the 91st birthday of Buddhist guru and 14th Dalai Lama, many big leaders of the country including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla have wished him. PM Modi said that his moral and spiritual strength and commitment towards global well-being is commendable.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also wished the Dalai Lama on his birthday. He wrote in the post, “Wishing His Holiness the Dalai Lama a very happy birthday. His lifelong dedication to compassion, peace and human dignity has inspired millions of people around the world. May his wisdom illuminate the hearts and minds of generations to come. Wishing him good health and happiness.”

Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju also wished the Dalai Lama on his birthday. He wrote, “On the auspicious occasion of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s 91st birthday, I express my deep faith in him. I pray for his long and healthy life. His values ​​and ideals are a beacon of love, peace and compassion for all humanity.”

Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya Scindia extended his greetings to the Dalai Lama, saying, “Your lifelong dedication towards compassion, harmony and peace remains a guiding light for humanity. Wishing you good health and long life.”

Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso, born on July 6, 1935 in the small village of Taktser in Tibet, is the spiritual and temporal leader of the Tibetan people.
