New Delhi, February 6 (IANS). Aam Aadmi Party leader Ashok Mittal termed the murder of an AAP worker in Punjab as unfortunate. He also assured strict action against the accused involved in this. He said that our government is serious about such matters.
Speaking to IANS on Friday, he said that we will ensure that strict action is taken against the accused involved in such cases. No accused should be spared.
Also, he claimed that criminal incidents have been curbed during the rule of Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab. If you compare our government with previous governments, you will find that criminal incidents have been curbed on a large scale. But, if any such case is still coming to light, we will definitely take strict action. We will not tolerate any laxity while taking strict action in such cases.
At the same time, in the national capital Delhi, a person died after falling into a pit. Aam Aadmi Party leader Ashok Mittal called it an unfortunate accident. He said that it is an unfortunate situation when we make tall claims of development in our country. You say that we have crossed this GDP figure. We have done so much work related to development. But, in Delhi a person dies after falling into a pit. What could be more tragic than this? I express my condolences to the family of the deceased in this hour of grief. In such cases, the government should take strict action against the accused, so that such cases do not come to light in the near future.
He said that in future the people of Delhi should not face any kind of problem. Delhi government should make complete arrangements for this. People’s welfare should be our priority.
