New Delhi, May 7 (IANS). On the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, political leaders across the country praised the courage of the Indian Army and the action of the Central Government. NDA leaders described it as a symbol of India’s strong policy and decisive response against terrorism. The leaders said that this operation gave a clear message to the world that India will no longer shy away from adopting a strict and proactive policy against terrorism.

In Mumbai, Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC said that one year has passed since the horrific incident of May 7, 2025, but after ‘Operation Sindoor’, India’s ability to deal with terrorism has become stronger. India not only retaliated against cross-border terrorism at the military level but also made effective use of international forums and the provisions of the UN Charter. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the citizens of the country are feeling more secure.

Rashtriya Lok Morcha MP from Patna, Upendra Kushwaha, said that the incident that took place before ‘Operation Sindoor’ was extremely painful and had brought a deep shock to the country. It was necessary to hold the culprits of that attack accountable and the Indian Army, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, gave a befitting reply. This campaign strengthened the sense of confidence and security among the countrymen.

Punjab BJP Vice President Fatehjang Singh Bajwa, while saluting the Indian Army and the national leadership, said that after the shameful incident in Pahalgam, it was decided that the country will definitely take revenge of its martyred soldiers. He said that through ‘Operation Sindoor’ India has shown that terrorism and its supporters will not be spared at any cost.

Uttar Pradesh government minister Omprakash Rajbhar said that under ‘Operation Sindoor’, Prime Minister Modi had given complete freedom to the army. He claimed that the Indian Army went 100 kilometers inside Pakistan and targeted terrorist hideouts. This action sent a message to the whole world that India is capable of keeping its promises and taking strict steps against terrorism.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Minister Narendra Kumar Kashyap said that ‘Operation Sindoor’ is a symbol of the courage, dedication and bravery of the Indian Armed Forces. The way the Indian Army responded to the terrorists by crossing the border, it gave a clear message to Pakistan that attacking India is no longer easy. The leaders also paid tribute to the martyred soldiers on this occasion.
