Patna, 8 November (IANS). Janata Dal United (JDU) leader Sanjay Singh on Saturday recalled the previous rule of Rashtriya Janata Dal and said that earlier the morale of criminals in Bihar used to be high.
Talking to journalists, he said that earlier during RJD rule people were kidnapped. After this there used to be deals, but today it is not so. Today, during the reign of Nitish Kumar, there is law and order, where there is fear of law among the criminals. If any criminal dares to commit a crime, our government will track him down from anywhere and ensure that he gets severe punishment.
Sanjay Singh said that I do not say that criminal incidents happen only in Bihar. Criminal incidents can happen anywhere, but undoubtedly it cannot be denied that during the RJD rule, most of the incidents took place in Bihar and the unfortunate thing was that the criminals also had the protection of the then government, but this is not the case today. Today our government believes in taking strict action against criminals.
The leader of Janata Dal United said that there is an election atmosphere in Bihar. Wherever we are going, the atmosphere seems to be in favor of NDA. There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the people about NDA. The political situation of the state seems to be completely in our favor. In such a situation, there should be no hesitation in saying that once again NDA government is going to be formed in Bihar.
JDU leader Sanjay Singh said that I want to make one thing clear that the people of Bihar are not stupid that they will bring back the era of misgovernance. The people of the state are not going to vote for Hath again. The people here are well aware of the past.
He said that leaders of opposition parties in Bihar can promise anything. This promise cannot be trusted at all. Even before this, these people have made many promises, but till date none of the promises have been fulfilled. It’s a leather tongue, no matter how you twist it, what difference does it make? If anyone really works for the people of Bihar then it is our government.
We have taken many steps so far for the people of the state. We kept the issue of empowerment of women of the state at the top of our priority list. Our government ensured that the women of the state remained dependent on themselves for their economic needs. We also announced to provide free electricity in the state. Our government also did the work of expanding health facilities, so that no one faces any problem.
He said that the work related to development in Bihar can be estimated from the fact that earlier the budget of this state was only Rs 23 thousand crores, but now it has become Rs 3 lakh crores. In such a situation, you can easily guess at what pace development related work is being done in the state. Unless Bihar has a treasury, how will the development work happen? Many development related works have been done during the reign of Nitish Kumar and will continue to be done in future also.
