Jammu, February 2 (IANS). The match between India and Pakistan will not be played in the T-20 World Cup on 15 February. Pakistan has refused to take the field against India. This decision of Pakistan is being condemned.
PDP leader Waheed Para said that Pakistan has taken a very wrong decision of not playing with India, I think the Pakistani cricket team should consider it.
The match between India and Pakistan in the T-20 World Cup was scheduled on 15 February, but Pakistan decided to boycott the match. Pakistan has made it clear that their team will participate in the T-20 World Cup, but will not take the field in the scheduled match against India.
On Pakistan’s retreat against India, PDP leader Waheed Para said that I think it is unfortunate. The spirit of the game has not been kept in mind in this decision of Pakistan. Cricket matches should promote harmony, regardless of ideologies or religions. However, the Pakistan cricket team’s decision not to participate is very disappointing, and they should reconsider it. Somehow, this seems like a wrong decision.
Regarding the budget session of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, PDP leader Waheed Para said that I believe that this document has neither the vision nor the will to really help the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The issue of granting statehood is completely missing in this document. First, there was an agreement on Article 370, and now there is an agreement on granting statehood. There is no mention of youth-related issues, and there is no mention of unemployment either. There is no mention of open merit or rationalization in this.
He said that the present government is not doing any work for the public interest.
