Patna, June 11 (IANS). Janata Dal United (JDU) national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan presented the party’s side on many issues. During this, he also expressed his opinion regarding the financial situation of Bihar, international situation, tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the politics of West Bengal.
Rejecting Tejashwi Yadav’s claim that Bihar is facing financial crisis, Rajiv Ranjan said that the provision of any fund by the state government is done with the approval of the Legislature under the budgetary provision and decisions are also taken from time to time when necessary. He said that there is no need to fall into the trap of rumors of RJD regarding the treasury of Bihar. This state has now recovered from the era of treasury loot. This is the reason why Bihar’s budget has gone beyond the budget of Rs 25 thousand crores and has reached more than Rs 3.25 lakh crores. Tejashwi Yadav would like to mislead people by saying such things, but the people of Bihar are no longer ready to be misled.
On the issue of three Indians missing after the US attack on an oil tanker near the Oman coast, the JDU spokesperson said that the Indian government has taken the incident seriously and the US Embassy has also been summoned. He said that until the Strait of Hormuz crisis is resolved, there is a need to remain extremely cautious. We are dependent on this route due to our energy needs. Despite continuous efforts, America and Iran are not able to resolve their differences. This is a worrying situation for the entire world and both sides will have to take decisions thoughtfully, otherwise this crisis can become a serious challenge for the entire humanity.
Responding to Donald Trump’s warning of attack on Iran and the subsequent rising tension, Rajiv Ranjan said that the situation is becoming increasingly serious. He said that the attacks have started. The way America has taken action and increased pressure in many cities of Iran, it is clear that both America and Iran should show generosity and move towards an agreement. This is necessary not only for both the countries, but in the interest of the entire humanity. Otherwise everyone’s problems are going to increase.
When Donald Trump congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completion of 12 consecutive years in office, JDU spokesperson called it a matter of pride for the country. He said that undoubtedly this is a great achievement for the people of India. Every Indian is proud of the achievements the country has achieved under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This tenure will be remembered not only in terms of time period, but also because of innumerable achievements.
On speculations about merger of former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s party Trinamool Congress with Congress, Rajeev Ranjan said that in the current circumstances, TMC’s position seems to be weakening. He said what is left with TMC now. Their MPs are also ready to say goodbye to the party any time. A large part of the MLAs have already left Mamata Banerjee. Congress also left no stone unturned to defeat TMC in West Bengal. In such a situation, speculation about an agreement between the two parties is beyond comprehension. People fear that this may only be an attempt to stop the MPs from leaving the party.
On the question asked about the resignation of TMC Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev, he said that now it will be more interesting to know who is left after all. All the big and famous faces are slowly seen leaving Mamata Banerjee’s side.
