New Delhi, April 20 (IANS). Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders have congratulated Chandrababu Naidu on his birthday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote on Twitter, “My hearty greetings to the hard-working Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and my good friend Shri Chandrababu Naidu. Under his leadership, Andhra Pradesh is scaling new heights of progress in all fields. May God grant him a long and healthy life to serve the people.”
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan wrote on X Post, “Happy Birthday to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. With his wide experience of governance as Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu has taken on his shoulders a huge responsibility of taking the state on the path of development on the strength of his vision. He has set targets like construction of the capital and completion of the Polavaram project. By establishing the state as a major center of investment, he is creating employment and job opportunities for the youth. Opportunities are increasing. Under the administration of Chandrababu who is continuously striving to convert the slogan of ‘Good Governance’ into reality, Andhra Pradesh will be at the forefront in all fields. I pray to God to grant Chandrababu Naidu immense happiness and prosperity.

It is noteworthy that Chandrababu Naidu started his career with the Indian Youth Congress in the 1970s after graduating from Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupati. He came into limelight very soon. In 1978 he won his first assembly election from Chandragiri and served in the state cabinet. Initially associated with the Congress, Naidu later joined the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), founded by actor-turned-politician N.T., in the wake of political turmoil in the early 1980s. Rama Rao did it.
Naidu played an important role in strengthening TDP during the internal crises of the party. In 1995, he took charge of the party and became the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. His tenure saw a significant shift towards economic reforms, technological progress and administrative efficiency. Known for his corporate-style governance, Naidu earned his reputation as the “CEO CM”. He laid special emphasis on attracting investment and modernizing infrastructure.
