Nagpur, December 10 (IANS). Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis targeted Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and said that he has often defamed India by going abroad. Even by going to Germany, they will defame India’s democracy.
While talking to the media in Nagpur, CM Fadnavis said that Rahul Gandhi can say anything. He is the leader of the opposition, he should deliberate before saying anything, but he has decided that he will keep blaming the constitutional institutions.
CM said that I do not have that much free time to answer Rahul Gandhi’s statements, because answers are given to those statements whose questions have logic. Rahul Gandhi says anything without logic, which has no meaning. Whatever comes to Rahul Gandhi’s mind, he keeps saying it.
Regarding the absence of Rahul Gandhi during the discussion on Vande Mataram, CM Fadnavis said that it does not matter whether Rahul Gandhi is in Parliament or not because he comes to Parliament as per the agenda. Despite being the leader of the opposition, seriousness is not visible in him.
He said that Rahul Gandhi’s agenda is fixed, to insult the Constitution every day and disrespect the institutions formed under the Constitution.
Let us tell you that during the winter session of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, while addressing the House, expressed his views on issues like SIR and vote theft.
He also asked 3 questions. Rahul said that the people of India are asking these 3 very important and direct questions, why was the CJI removed from the EC selection panel? Why was the EC given almost complete legal immunity ahead of the 2024 elections? Why such a hurry to destroy CCTV footage in 45 days? The answer is only one – BJP is making the Election Commission a tool to steal votes.
