After Sanjay Raut raised questions on film actor Salman Khan attending an RSS event, Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde responded. He said that there is nothing wrong in Salman Khan going to Mohan Bhagwat’s event. He said that he is an Indian citizen and respects our culture. Therefore, there should be no politics in this. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said, “What is the question of Salman Khan not going to the RSS event? Is Salman Khan not an Indian citizen? Salman Khan is an Indian citizen. He keeps Lord Ganesha at his house and does everything.”

Deputy CM Shinde further said, “He respects our culture. His family does too. I don’t see anything wrong in Salman Khan going to Mohan Bhagwat’s event. It is right, and he is a Mumbaikar, so he came to an event in Mumbai. There should be no politics on this.”

Actor Salman Khan attended an event of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Mumbai. Taking aim at this event, Uddhav Thackeray’s MP Sanjay Raut asked when Salman Khan became an RSS volunteer. Raut said that after the arrival of Narendra Modi, people are joining RSS out of fear.
The event was organized on Saturday (February 7) in Mumbai to mark the centenary of RSS. Bollywood actor Salman Khan, filmmaker Subhash Ghai and famous lyricist and writer Prasun Joshi were also present. In this two-day event, the journey of RSS, its role in the society and its vision for the future were discussed.
