New Delhi, February 25 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on Israel tour. During this, National General Secretary of Congress Priyanka Gandhi raised the issue of Gaza. Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s national spokesperson Vinod Bansal on Wednesday targeted Congress.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad national spokesperson Vinod Bansal, speaking to IANS, said, “Sympathy with Hamas, alliance with terrorists and keeping distance from innocent people is an ancient tradition of Congress. If the Prime Minister has gone to Israel, he would talk about Palestine. When he used to go to Palestine, he would talk about Israel. Congress should at least stand with the country in matters of foreign policy and defence.”
Vinod Bansal said, “Congress has always been suffering from anti-India mentality. When innocent people of Israel were taken hostage and killed, the Congress party was in the bill at that time. As soon as the bombing of Gaza started, the hideouts of organizations like Hamas and Houthi started being destroyed, Congress and Muslim parties all took to the streets.”
He said, “When humanity is murdered in Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan, the same thing happens in Gaza. At that time the whole gang maintains silence. Congress should learn to stand with humanity and India sometime. Congress should come out of anti-India and inhuman mentality.”
Vinod Bansal praised the decision to rename Kerala as ‘Keralaam’. He said, “‘Kerala’ also reflects the heritage, culture and mythology of the state. I thank the state and the Government of India for this decision. The old glory of Kerala is about to be restored. Delhi has also been waiting for many years when it will get its cultural and mythological name, because the word ‘Delhi’ has no historical and cultural relevance. Its name should be Indraprastha, which should actually reflect its tradition, history and culture. Connect a glorious past to Indraprastha. It happens.”
