Kolkata, June 10 (IANS). BJP leader and spokesperson Keya Ghosh made several sharp comments targeting former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool Congress. He also reacted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s record of being the elected Prime Minister for the longest consecutive period.
While talking to IANS in Kolkata, Keya Ghosh took a dig at Mamata Banerjee by quoting a famous dialogue from the film ‘Sholay’.
He said that Asrani has a famous dialogue in the film, “Half go here, half go there, the rest follow me.” But when he looks back, no one is with him.
Keya Ghosh said that today Mamata Banerjee’s situation also looks similar. After walking a few steps, Mamata Banerjee looks back again and again to see if any MP or MLA is leaving her.
The BJP spokesperson also targeted leaders associated with TMC. He said that some people make big claims based on their political influence and relationships. Someone says that he will play loud music, someone talks about showing weapons, while someone describes himself as someone who will never bow down. But now his real political situation is coming to the fore and he seems nervous.
Keya Ghosh said that with time people come to know the real strength and public support of the leaders. He claimed that many such changes are being seen in the politics of West Bengal also.
Responding to Prime Minister Modi becoming the longest continuously elected Prime Minister, Keya Ghosh said that this day is going to be recorded in the pages of Indian history. Many leaders of the country and the world are congratulating Prime Minister Modi for this achievement, and it is a matter of pride for every Indian.
