Kharagpur, April 19 (IANS). Former Delhi media chief of BJP Naveen Kumar Jindal has raised serious questions regarding the law and order of West Bengal. He said that the situation in the state is continuously worsening and a big crisis has arisen on the safety of common people. He alleged that TMC is trying to incite communal violence through Humayun Kabir.
Naveen Kumar Jindal alleged that communal politics is increasing in West Bengal and held the Trinamool Congress and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s government directly responsible for this. He says that there is no law and order left in the state and criminals are not being controlled. The situation in Murshidabad has deteriorated so much that people have been forced to migrate. There, an atmosphere of pressure and fear was created on the people of Hindu community, due to which many people were forced to leave their homes. He described it as a situation similar to the exodus from Kashmir.
He alleged that incidents of crimes against women in the state are also worrying and in many cases proper action is not taken. Jindal said that if law and order is not strengthened in time, the situation may worsen.
In his statement he also said that to save West Bengal, there is a need for a strong government, which works impartially and ensures the safety of all communities. He said that there should be a government in the state which does not belong to any one party, but belongs to the entire society.
Jindal alleged that Humayun Kabir has the support of TMC. He is deliberately trying to spread communal tension and this is spoiling the atmosphere of the state. He said that such situations should not be used for political gains.
