New Delhi, October 17 (IANS). Congress leader Udit Raj, regarding Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Fatehpur, said that he is the only support for the poor, Dalits, backward communities and tribals.
Speaking to IANS, he said that if Rahul Gandhi does not stand with these poor and oppressed people, then who will stand? Dalit, backward, tribal and poor communities of the entire country look towards Rahul Gandhi with hopeful eyes. Udit Raj said that there is an era of oppression going on in the country and Rahul Gandhi is becoming the voice of these communities.
On Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s statement regarding Chief Minister Face in Bihar, Udit Raj said that Amit Shah thinks that the people of the country are with him. After the assembly elections, the MLAs choose the Chief Minister. He raised the question what happened in Gujarat? 12-13 ministers resigned on one order.
Udit Raj said that Nitish Kumar will not be made the Chief Minister. He claimed that BJP has stabbed Nitish Kumar in the back. Efforts are being made to weaken JDU. He said that the circumstances will change in Bihar after November 14.
On Shah’s statement on infiltrators, the Congress leader said that it is your government, then why are you asking questions to Rahul Gandhi? Is he the PM? Are they stopping? Security forces and agencies are with you. Remove the intruder, who is stopping?
He said that the issue of infiltration is raised during elections in states like Delhi and Jharkhand. The issue ends after the elections are over. The government should answer.
Udit Raj raised the case of IPS officer Puran Kumar who committed suicide in Haryana. He said that this is a very frightening situation. If common people know the reality, the ground will slip from under their feet. Nayab Saini is not the Chief Minister, but the work is being done on the instructions of the Centre.
