New Delhi, November 2 (IANS). Amid Bihar Assembly elections, a delegation of diplomats from seven countries will undertake a two-day visit to the state. This delegation will try to understand India’s democratic and electoral process at the ground level. Along with this, these diplomats will observe the election campaign of BJP in Bihar.
This delegation will reach Bihar on Sunday under the ‘Know BJP’ program, which was started by Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda.
According to a BJP press release, the delegation includes representatives from the embassies and high commissions of Japan, Indonesia, Denmark, Australia, UK, Bhutan and South Africa. These diplomats will interact with senior BJP leaders, observe campaign activities and visit key constituencies to understand how the party connects with voters and manages large-scale election campaigns.
During his stay, the diplomat will visit several constituencies in Patna, Nalanda and Gaya, where he will witness rallies, campaign meetings and booth-level coordination efforts. Senior BJP officials will brief the delegation about the party’s digital campaign, volunteer structure and campaign strategy for the ongoing Bihar Assembly elections.
The visit of diplomats from seven countries to Bihar comes a few days before the first phase of voting on November 6. The second phase of voting will be held on November 11 and counting of votes will take place on November 14.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also coming to Bihar for a one-day election campaign on Sunday. The Prime Minister will address two consecutive rallies. The first rally will be held in Arrah at 1.30 pm and the second in Nawada at 3.30 pm. He is scheduled to return to Patna at around 5 pm, where he will pay floral tributes at the statue of Ramdhari Singh Dinkar. At 5.30 pm, he will participate in a grand road show in Patna in support of the NDA candidates.
