Varanasi, 29 September (IANS). Religious and political tension is continuously increasing due to the ‘I Love Mohammed’ poster controversy in Uttar Pradesh. The District President of the BJP Yuva Morcha in Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has put banners of ‘I Love Bulldozer’ at the major intersections of the city.
These banners have been installed at the major intersections of Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh, in which ‘I Love Bulldozer’ is written.
Talking to IANS, BJP Yuva Morcha District President Aman Sonkar said that those who are working to spread unrest in Uttar Pradesh, we want to remind them once again. Those people do not know that there is Yogi Raj in Uttar Pradesh and unrest cannot be spread in the state.
He said that if someone is found to be spreading unrest in the state, then bulldozer action can be taken on them.
Let me tell you that the whole controversy started with the Baravafat procession of Kanpur, where there was an uproar over the banner ‘I Love Mohammed’. When the police removed the banner, the Muslim community protested, which spread to Bareilly, Lucknow and other cities. Now Hindu organizations have put banners of ‘I Love Mahadev’ in retaliation.
At the same time, the protesters in Bareilly also pelted stones at the police, in which 10 policemen were injured. After this, the police had to lathi -charged. The police arrested Maulana Tauqir Raza, the head of Ittehad-e-Millat Council, for inciting violence. He has more than 7 FIRs lodged against him and was shifted to Fatehgarh Jail.
The police had registered a total of 10 FIRs and arrested 8 people. After this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed to take strict action against those who spoiled the atmosphere.
