Jalpaiguri, March 8 (IANS). Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary, while targeting the TMC government of West Bengal, said that the people have made up their mind that there should be change this time. We are all ready to overthrow Mamata Banerjee’s government.
He said that BJP is working for the welfare of the people in Bengal including the tribal communities, Gorkha community and Bengali society.
Deputy CM was on Bengal tour on Sunday. Here he addressed a huge public meeting held at Kranti, Mal Assembly (Siliguri), West Bengal. He said that the Trinamool Congress government of West Bengal has become a symbol of corruption, anarchy and injustice. Parivartan Yatra is a powerful call of the people of Bengal, who want to free the state from misgovernance and establish a new era of accountability, good governance and development under the leadership of PM Modi.
He said that it is extremely shameful that the country’s President Draupadi Murmu and her ignorance of the sentiments of the tribal society is extremely unfortunate. The venue of the International Santhal Conference in Siliguri was made smaller and neither the Chief Minister nor any minister came to receive him.
The President himself expressed grief over whether Mamata Didi was angry with me. This is an insult to the highest position of the tribal community and the nation. The TMC government of West Bengal has crossed all limits of decorum. The post of President is above politics. Its dignity must be respected at all costs. Mamata Banerjee has ruined the democratic system by presenting bad politics.
Referring to International Women’s Day, Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary said that hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the mothers and sisters on International Women’s Day. Women power is a wonderful symbol of courage, sacrifice, love and creation. The contribution of women in the development of family, society and nation has been invaluable and inspiring. This day inspires us to further strengthen our resolve towards respect, rights and empowerment of women. Let us all pledge together to ensure respect, safety and equal opportunities for women, so that a strong and prosperous society can be built.
