Singrauli, May 19 (IANS). The two-year-old innocent daughter who was kidnapped from Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh has been recovered by the police from Jharkhand within 36 hours. Along with this, the accused is also in the custody of the police. According to the information received from the police, the complainant was sleeping with his two year old daughter in the bus stand Baidhan. When he woke up late at night, his daughter was not found there. When the girl was not found even after extensive searching in the area, fear of her being abducted by an unknown person was expressed.
On receiving the information, a case was registered at Baidhan police station and immediate investigation was started. Considering the seriousness of the matter, a special SIT was formed under the direction of Superintendent of Police Singrauli Shiaz KM. Under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Roshni Patel and police station and outpost in-charges, 10 special teams of about 150 police officers and employees were deployed in search of the girl.
A reward of Rs 10,000 was also announced by the Superintendent of Police for providing information about the kidnapper and the accused. To search for the kidnapped girl, a radio message was given to the police stations of various districts of the state and border states and an intensive search operation was conducted at railway stations, bus stands, hospitals, dams, rivers and deserted places in Baidhan, Vindhyanagar, Morwa, Bargawan and Mada areas.
The police examined the footage of about 200 CCTV cameras and the girl’s photo pamphlets were pasted in public places, autos and buses and circulated through social media and newspapers.
After technical analysis of the CCTV footage, the police found a suspicious person going from Baidhan with the girl to Bilauji and further towards Majan Mod. The concerned bus driver, conductors and auto drivers were interrogated, on the basis of which the police team got information that the suspicious person is a resident of Latehar (Jharkhand), who has gone to his village with the girl. Based on this information, special police teams were immediately sent to Jharkhand. The police team arrested the accused from his residence, recovered the two-year-old kidnapped girl and handed her over to her family.
