Startup Conclave 2025, Gandhiinagar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah today made a grand inauguration of the Startup Conclave 2025 at the Mahatma Temple in Gandhinagar on 23 September 2025. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and State Higher and Technical Education Minister Rishikesh Patel were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
This two -day startup Conclave organized by the State Education Department included more than 1,000 startups, 5,000 new profiles, 100 industry advisors, more than 50 enterprise funds organizations and leading policy makers gathered on the same platform.
More than 170 startups from 20 states took part
According to the information, more than 170 startups from 20 states participated in this program. These included Startups selected by Startup India, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, and innovations for defense excellence.
Signation process starts
During the conclave, the state government started the process of signing 50 compromise measures between startups, investors and financial institutions. Along with this, funding checks and letters were also distributed to the selected enterprises, which will provide large -scale economic and technical support to the newcomers and entrepreneurs. Let me tell you, this conference is considered an important initiative to strengthen startup ecosystem in Gujarat and promote innovation.

Addressing the gathering, Amit Shah said, today’s startup Conclave Innovate, Elevate and Accelerate are going to be held in Gujarat on the theme of these three mantras. I am confident that it will definitely be more successful than last year, which will benefit in furthering the future of both the country and the state. Along with this, the startup conclave will be a huge platform to connect the emerging startups with investors and the mantra that Modi ji has given ‘Mind to Market’ i.e. your idea will be a big platform to reach the market.
Shah said, Modi ji has opened a treasure for our youth by creating a vertical of research on Indian knowledge system in the new education policy. And now the Modi government is making an effort to provide the knowledge in the manuscripts by collecting it in a good way, by doing research on it.
Shah said that I want to say to all the youth, the treasure of knowledge in the Indian knowledge system can work as a foundation for you and by standing on that strong foundation, you can do best research in many fields in the world.
Before 2014, there were less than 500 startups in the country and they were also available in few cities. Dreaming of startup was possible only for children receiving foreign education. The leadership of women or backward classes was also almost zero.

But, Modi ji started Startup India in the year 2016 and Modi ji fulfilled the dream of making Indian youth a job creator with a startup India campaign.
In his address, Shah further said, Modi ji has created a strong ecosystem of startups to solve many problems of our country, increase the instinct of innovation and give platforms to the creativity of the youth. India was ranked 91st in the Innovation Index in 2015 and today we have come from 91st to 38th rank in 2025, this is a huge achievement.
